From Portobelo, PA to Samara, CRHi everyone!
I arrive in Portobelo with a sailing boat on a Sunday and have to be in Samara the following sunday. So I have more or less a week in Panama, My goal is to get so see Panama as much as possible, but also going into the direction of Samara so I won`t have to travel it all at once.
Would you have any suggestions on which way I should go? To me option 1 is traveling up the caribean cost and eventually go to San José and take a bus from there to Samara. Option 2 would be going from Panama City to David and try to find a connection to Samara without having to go to San José. Third option would be doing things not too far away from Panama City so at the end of the week I can take to direct bus from Panama City to San José and take it from there. Or are there better options?
Thanks for any input!

What month is this? Rainy season varies greatly between each coast, and each country....
Corcovado is the highlight of CR for nature and wildlife, and would be on the Pacific route side, via a bus to Golfito and then a boat from there to Pt Jimenez. You then can fly from PJ to SJ, then bus, as its 10 hour bus ride from PJ to SJ, or, go via Palmar Sur>Ojachal>Uvita>Quepos, then up to Liberia, and then to Samara...lot of time there though...
