1There is some information here: http://www.sleepinginairports.net/northamerica/mexicocity-airport.htm#.Udvzpm13-R4
It is not necessarily correct though :)) For example there is a Wings 24-hour restaurant near arrivals gate E2.

3If you don't get in until 1am, be sure to bring a bottle of water and a Snickers bar with you, as I think everything in the terminals will be closed.
Terminal 2 is a better choice than the old Terminal 1 to spend a night. Outside the secure area, there are newer, nicer, larger bathrooms, fewer people passing through in the terminal. Inside Terminal 2's exit doors there is a stepped, bleacher-like concrete seating area where one can stretch out for a bit.
You may also be able to "camp out" for the night inside the large Copa Airlines check in area across the way inside Terminal 2. Bathrooms nearby. You can step outside and there is a nice area in the center of the dropoff circle where you can get some relatively fresh air during the night with no worries. The center of the covering roof is open to the sky.
Outside the secure area, Terminal 1 is kind of spooky at night. If you want to smoke, don't wander more than a few meters outside the exit doors to the street in order to stay safe there. Traffic passing all night, but usually some cops walking around too. One of my pet peeves with Terminal 1 is the lack of any benches or seating anywhere in the nonsecure part of the terminal except in the food court plus a few at the Arrivals area.
The food court upstairs in Terminal 1 has seating and tables. If you take the second floor walkway going away from the food court that passes over to the bus terminal, there are a few chairs there too, around the corner at the end. Quieter area, not sure on security at night though,
Terminal 1's bathrooms are a nightmare. Dimly lit and claustrophobic, mixed with the smell of clorox and caca from the overflowing wastebins next to every toilet. Attention Mr Tourism Minister and Mr Airport Authority Minister: Nice way to welcome people to the largest city and airport in the country!
