Indonesia: SulawesiHey there,
I'm planing a trip to indonesia with my boyfriend. My boyfriend has never been out of europe and would love to go diving and see beautiful beaches like on the postcards ;). I thought about going to Gili Islands and maybe lembongan (I've been there before) and then traveling sulawesi. How do I get from bali to sulawesi? are their flights from kuta? has anybody been to sulawesi before and can tell which places are worth a visit? we've read about the togian islands and would like to do some trekking in the rainforest :)...how much time should I plan for sulawesi? I think we got between 4 to 6 weeks. Is accomodation expensive and is it difficult to get around?
I would be thankful for any tipps ;)

1On Sulawesi you could easily pass a month. Check utiket.com for flights maybe to Makassar or Manado and leave from the opposite probably via Surabaya. Togians cost from 150,000R for full board per person to give you an idea. Trans Sulawesi buses would be the best to travel. Avoid touts and look on past posts here to find your own way.

2Sulawesi has a lot of dive spot! You can flight directly from Bali to Sulawesi, mostly they fly to Makassar or Manado, from there you can go by bus around sulawesi. I recomended Lembeh Strait near Manado if you like macro creatures, its macro lovers heaven, then you can go to Wakatobi, the underwater was amazing! There's a lot of dive spot that i've been dive before, takabonerate island, Bunaken, Gorontalo, Tanjung Bira etc. On Gorontalo you could see Salvador Dali (coral with LOVE symbol). I can suggest you reliable dive operator there.
If you have time , you can go to Tana Toraja too!
