Cheap travel from Philippines to CambodiaHi. I'm gonna do some backpacking in the Philippines between Dec/ Jan this year. About 40 days altogether...I was thinking to use the last week or so before going back to Europe to check out Angkor Wat and its surroundings in Cambodia.
Now, here's the question: does anyone of you guys know, if there's a ferry or something that can take me across the South China Sea/ Gulf of Thailand? Anything that can possibly take me to Cambodia (or at least to Vietnam)?
A boat would be awesome! I checked out the flights quickly, but firstly they were ridiculously expensive, and secondly, I'd prefer to travel on a local (perhaps overcrowded) ferry rather than on the plane (will use one when flying back to Europe some days later anyway)...
So, yeah, I hope that you can help me.
Thanks a lot,
