I need some information about Makarska; budget, airport etc.Hi.
Me and my boyfriend are going to Makarska in July (2013) 4th July until 10th of july.
We are staying there for 7 days and I am thinking of bringing about 1000€ (7466,9 HRK)
and I was wondering if that is enough?
I would also like to know the best way to get to Makarska from Split airport,
money rates & how long it will take? Also for the way back.
We arrive in Makarska at 22.45 will there be buses at that time?
Also when we are going home, are plane leaves around 14.00,
what time should we leave Makarska to get to Split airport?
Any other added info and tips on Makarska that you could give is highly appreciated :)

1Arriving at that time of the evening presents a few issues. Firstly, if your flight arrives late you may then not be able to rely on what few remaining coaches remain running. Also these coaches do not run past the airport - to pick one up you would either need to grab a cab or bus no. 37 to Trogir.
I would consider staying the night of your arrival near Split Airport. Perhaps best in Trogir - prebook though and advise you shall be arriving late. Trogir itself is worthy of at least half a morning's visit - if not longer - it is stunning - the following day and then from there you can easily catch one of the many coaches heading south.
The journey time is not long - though you need to build in a pause time taken by coaches in Split and also summer traffic.
Returning, I would leave early, have a leisurely brunch again in Trogir and then grab local bus no. 37 for the short hop to Split Airport.
€1000 as an amount - well it all depends - does this include accommodation or not - are you five star people or other...shopping...seafood consumption...taxis...on balance I suspect it will be enough. Changing money is easy - exchange bureaus all around.

2If you already payed for your room in Makarska then I suggest use low cost transfer at http://www.transfer-split.com.
If not then night at Trogir is good option but use a taxi from airport to Trogir because you won't be able to catch a bus at that hour.
At your return transfer you must count at least 1:30 hours for Makarska - Split centre with bus. Then you need to go from central station for 3 more bus stations with any bus and then you have bus station where you can catch 37 bus. You need to count at least for 1 hour from there to airport.
