3The skipper is the labor law.
On some ships, depending on his rules, your boss may tell you to do something only twice. Then its wall to wall counsilling.
They can write you up, in the log as "lost overboard during a storm." whether there was a storm or not.
I've shipped out, a bunch. Like security cameras.. are after the fact.
Heaven is the only ideal world. But that may not be as advertised. Be real.

7What legal jurisdiction the vessel is under is determined by what flag it sails under. Every ship must fly under a flag from some country, and its irrelevant the nationality of the crew or captain. This is the reason a lot of modern 'pirates' sail under the Somalian flag - the repercussions for being caught are not very significant there. Hope this helped.
