Any hotels around Pak Bara on Agoda?I've got a flight from Chiang Mai to Hat Yai arriving in Hat Yai at around 1145. I figure it will take around 2 hours at least to get down to Pak Bara. Is there any way I can get to Koh lipe still or would all the ferries have gone for the day? My alternative is to arrive a day earlier, stay a night somewhere in Satun and get the first ferry the next day.
Can anyone suggest any hotels in Satun that are close to the pier? I guess Pak Bara? I can't seem to find any at all on Agoda.

1Saw a couple of small guesthouses on the main road to the wharf when we we there a few years ago. Now is not a good season to be going out to Koh Lipe. I'm not sure if the boats run this time of year either. We were there in month of December and the weather was a bit rainy late arvo and our room roof leaked. Do some research on boat schedules. it's a long journey if you can't get out there.

2Boats run all year (unless they are cancelled on a particular day because of bad seas). If I remember correctly, during wet season, there is only one a day, at around 11am, but check this.
(If you don't find any other sources, contact firstname.lastname@example.org who could tell you (and sell you a minibus/ferry ticket at a decent price).
There are a few guesthouses around Pak bara pier, you should have no trouble just 'walking-in' if you arrive in the area. Dunno anything about Agoda.
Satun (town) is about an hour away from Pak Bara. There are at least five hotels there from 220B to $150. If you want lots of sleeping options, you might as well do your overnighting in Hat Yai.
