How many blank pages in passport?I'm heading to Africa this summer....I'm flying into Zambia, then travelling through Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, and may possibly enter into Zimbabwe and/or Malawi.
I have 9 blank pages left in my passport at the moment and am wondering if anyone knows if this will be enough? I have phoned a few of the embassies and they all seem to say that I need 2 or 3!!! (Tanzania) blank pages! This seems like an awful lot, and contradicts a lot of information on the internet. Has anyone been recently that can shed any light on how many passport pages I really need?

2They took a full page for my Zambia entry and exit, they stamp twice for entry.
Malawi stamps are small, and if you ask nicely they will put it in between old travels on an earlier page. Malawians can fit about 6 or 7 stamps on 1 page.
Tanzania entry/exit are one stamp each, but they write quite a lot around the entry so take at the least half a page for that, you might need more. They managed to fill it so badly in mine that only 1 Malawian fitted besides it.
Kenya and Zimbabwe are full page stickers in mine. So that's 1 page each. With Kenya, they put all the stamps on my sticker, so no extra pages taken by them this time.
I haven't been to Uganda yet so I don't know about that one.
Now to finish, every country requires that you have at least 2 blank pages left or they won't issue a visa. With 9 pages left, I think you will be fine, but to eliminate all your worries, renew your passport like Ivan said. I add up to 2 stickers, and 3, maybe 4 pages of stamps. Totals 5 or 6, leaves 3 or 4 empty pages for Uganda.
I just found this blog: http://teryrobin.blogspot.nl/p/visas.html
He a stamp for Uganda.
