10weeks in south South AsiaHi guys, my two friends and I are heading over for 10 weeks in Asia before we head go to OZ for a year, we fly in to Bangkok the 1st of October. We are looking to travel Thailand, Loas, Vietnam, Cambodia, then work our way down to catch our flight in Singapore mid December.
Any use give us a estimate on how much per day we would need excluding travel?Bare in mind were on a budget :)
And If use have any travel tips or tricks please share.
Thanks in advanced

Different countries different costs. 10 weeks in SEA not counting travel and on a budget, Hmm £1,500 (tight) to £2000 a bit easier. £2,500 comfortable (backpacker style). Do not forget other costs like visas etc.
Helps if you tell us what you like to do. Party, Dive, Mountains, Beaches. I can live on £10 a day in BKK, not necessarily enjoy it though. Ok for a day or two before heading home but I actually do travel to enjoy myself - on a budget!

yeah 2000 to 2500 sounds good, we would like to do some sites like Angkor Wat and also fit some partying into it as well and ive heard that the diving in koh tao is ment to be really good also then we are prepared to lay at the beach for a few days if we have to so we can save money for some day trips or that.
well in the uk where i live you can spend £3.90 to £5 on a beer so am hoping its going to be cheaper over there, i work away the now so when im home i spend more than i should going out with family and friends so it would be hard to say what i spend.

12Little bit off topic sorry but I drink a fair bit of beer but for some reason Chang always seems to get mw.
I don't mind the taste but the next day I am always a bit dusty.
Never had the problem with other beers. Is it the chemicals or just me.
Any Chang drinkers ?
I know a few and they have no probs.
Sorry op but your question has been asked time and time again. With different interests some many come here and ask about budgets. Some like the south some like the north but the full on tourist areas will cost but if you do you homework and nail down a particular place then usually someone on here can give you the heads up.
On a budget ay?Well watch your spending as Australia is very expensive compared to your Asian jaunt.
