I am in Oludeniz at the moment and want to see turtles in the wild.
From Oludeniz you can book daytrips but they only visit turtle beach for 1 hour! Not really interested in visiting a turkish delight factory etc,...
Am planning on renting a vehicle for a day and go there myself. Want to spend as much time as possible watching the turtles.
Any tips or advice on visiting turtle beach?
Any other places around Oludeniz to watch wild turtles...or any other wildlife?
Any advice welcome

1There has been some cause for concern about the desire for tourists to view turtles. Because of the demand, the locals have started feeding them which is a "bad thing" since loggerhead turtles are migratory animals who should roam vast distances in the ocean. It is probably not good for them to be enticed to stick around.
There is a turtle sanctuary at the east end of İztuzu Beach which caters for those turtles injured by propellers etc.
If you take any boat trip in southern Turkey, you might glimpse them in the wild. I have seen them several times during scuba diving outings.
