Denizli Airport to Pamukkale at night / Pamukkale to BodrumHello fellows,
My girlfriend and I are planning our trip to Turkey and Greece. We have already booked the flight to Istambul on August 15th. We intent to stay 3 nights in Istambul and then catch a Flight to Pamukkale (Denizli). Then we intent to follow to the Turkish costline and catch a ferry to the Greek Island.
I saw that the Denizli airport is about 80km away from the Pamukkale. I intent to catch the flight in Istanbul at 23.35 and arrive in Denizli at 00.35 h. But the prob is that when we arrive, it will be really late and there is no public transportation, so the ride to Denizli could be impossible at that time.
What would you suggest?
I heard that some hotels can pick us up in the airport but it seems a little bit expensive. It is the only option to reach Pamukkale at such hour?
Then we want to reach the greek Island Santorini. I’m thinking of catching a Bus from Pamukkale to Bodrum, then a ferry to Kos and then finally Santorini. All the bus and ferries trips can cost us around 80€/each.
Is that a feasible path? What would you suggest to minimize the expenses and the budget spend? Should we change Bodrum to other more suitable city?

1Hmm,you're from Portugal...as Benfica knocked out my beloved Fenerbahce last night I don't know if I should help you :) Good luck to them,I hope they stuff Chelsea in the final!
So,there is a shuttle bus from the airport into Denizli city centre. This company is contracted to meet each incoming flight and leaves from just outside arrivals 15-20 minutes after the flight lands. You don't book it,you just pay and get on.It is 10TL per person and it takes 1 hour. This web site is only in Turkish but you can see the bus on it so you know what to look for-
Once into the city you can then just take a taxi up to Pamukkale, this will be c.30TL.So this total works out c.12€ per person.
One important note;it will be c.02.00-.02.15 by the time you reach your hotel.Let them know you are arriving on that late flight and to expect you just after 2 o'clock.Generally they don't mind late arrivals so long as they know you are coming.
Bodrum will be the most economical place for you to leave Turkey from and to reach Bodrum there are buses from Denizli otogar.
Isparta Petrol Turizm have a bus at 09.30 which is a decent hour.Cost 27TL.You may like to ask your hotel if they would be kind enough to telephone and reserve your seats for you. This would get you to Bodrum around 14.30 so you would be in time to take the same afternoon ferry over to Kos if you wanted.
The ferry leaves at 16.30 cost 15€-
There is an evening ferry from Kos to Santorini with Blue Star ferries leaving c.19.45-
So it is possible to do all this in the one day if you wanted to.
Hope this is a help!

2Sarikanarya, Portugal is much more than Benfica! And for me, support Benfica is something like you support Besiktas or Galatasaray. Total Impossible! And as supporter of FC Porto I have another reason (if it isn´t enough so far!) to supported Fenerbace. You have a ex-former player that I appreciate, Raul Meireles! So this final, all of us with Chelsea!!!!
By the way, your tips are excellent.
All that I need.
