Accommodation in San Diego for 2 nights, budget around $250 inc taxHi,
I'm looking for a a hotel (even an apartment) in San Diego for 2 adults for 2 nights from 30th July, leaving on the 1st August.
We've found a lot on various websites but the mid range prices don't seem to vary massively and the reviews are so mixed. I wondered if anyone had any good suggestions?
We like the look of Gaslamp, Little Italy and so on as we're there for a short time, but we're not averse to Mission Beach, Pacific Beach and the area near the Airport. Budget of $250 is just a rough estimate.
We may have a car for both nights, some hotels offer valet parking but it also looks like you can find a public car park - any advise on that?
Thanks a lot.

3@carracar I've not really looked into AirBnB much for San Diego, have for other parts of our trip, but we'd ideally get a hotel in San Diego because we arrive about 8pm at night, have 2 nights and leave about 8am on the 1st August - seems easier to get a hotel.
@Usher73 I've seen the La Pensione, looks good and is on the possibles list.
Any other good suggestions?

4You've given very little information about your trip, so you haven't gotten very much information in return.
Is San Diego just a short stop on your way to someplace else, or are you really interested in San Diego?
You could fill your short 2 days with many things, but if we knew what you were interested in we could be much more helpful.
