3Yes, I'm familiar with google. Thanks. I was hoping someone who lives in or frequents Seoul might have some personal suggestions and maybe something that is often overlooked by doing internet based research. Googleing contemporary art in Seoul, or New York, or London, or Berlin, or Beijing, or Paris, while helpful, isn't a substitute for first hand knowledge of any of those cities art districts or galleries. Especially for lesser known galleries.

4Leeum Museum would be great http://visitkorea.or.kr/enu/SI/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=268217
The Seoul Museum of Art is also another favorite of mine. They recently had the Tim Burton exhibit there. http://www.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/SI/SI_EN_3_1_1_1.jsp?cid=268176
There are also some cool sculptures outside the museum
And lastly, National Museum of Contemporary ARt
There's two of them, one in Seoul located inside Deoksugung Palace, and the other in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do.
Haven't been to the Gwacheon one yet but I imagine it would be bigger as they have more exhibits there
