PHILIPPINE ISLANDSI see flights on special at the mo for $590 rnt flights from Bris to Manilla DIRECT. 1stly - has anyone flown on Philippine Airways? Even the travel agent said they are crap (im pretty sure she is not permitted to give such advice??!!) but that price is pretty darn great!
2ndly, the price is for flights between Oct and Nov this year. I know that its still typhoon season BUT is it worth risking this type of season for the white sandy beaches and the price to get there??
Lastly, my ideal route would be from Manilla (a few days) fly to Boracay (explore) then get to Palawan (??can you get there from Boracay?) then over to Cebu. I am obviously not sure how to get from A to B with the transport aspect of things. Advice please? I just want to island hop for about a month and these are definate places i want to visit.
Is it affordable to fly domestically?
AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE PLEASE! Thanks heaps

1"has anyone flown on Philippine Airways? Even the travel agent said they are crap"
Flown with them many times but only on domestic flights, they were fine
"the price is for flights between Oct and Nov this year. I know that its still typhoon season"
October and November were fairly good this year weatherwise, but impossible to predict. Might be sunny, might be raining, might be Typhoon
" my ideal route would be from Manilla (a few days) fly to Boracay (explore) then get to Palawan"
Would need to fly Manila to Caticlan to Cebu to Puerto Princesa. Domestic flights can be cheap if you book well in advance, but this will also set your route in advance and sometimes good to be flexible when travelling here just in case things dont go to plan..

3i was in manila & palawan & the visayas in october/november a few years ago & wasn't too inconvenienced by the rain. manila was the wettest but i did arrive there in between 2 typhoons
i haven't flown on PA but the domestic flights with cebu pacific are pretty cheap (more so the earlier you book). it's a good price for a direct flight
