1Yes - its a separate visa for each country. Being Irish the Kenyan & Ugandan visas will cost $50 US or around E40 and for Tanzania it will be $100 US (E80) but you do get a multiple entry visa. The other advantage is that as long as you stay within the three East African countries you can re-enter without needing to get another visa - but you may have to push the issue with the Kenyan immigration people. They check every page of your passport before finally letting you back in!!

Visa fees for Irish are $50 Kenya, free Uganda and $100 Tanzania, which applies only to us and the Americans, the Pakistanis have to pay $200! I'm not sure why, but I heard that one of our Ministers for Foreign Affairs did something to p*** them off a few years ago.
You can get Kenya and TZ visas on the border, just make sure you have dollar notes that are 2003 or later.
