Singapore Airlines Lounge - ChangiDoes anybody have any experience in using the Singapore Airlines Lounges at Changi airport?
I will be flying with Singapore Airlines for the first time in June/June and will be transiting through the airport 4 times, so I may have a bit of time to kill. Secondly, it may be handy to have access to the shower/bathroom.
I have signed up to their KrisFlyer program, but I have not yet accrued any flights.
Can any SA ticket holders use their lounges or is it generally quite restricted?
There seems to be very little information about it on their website.

1Airline lounges are usually reserved for first- and business-class travellers. You get given an invitation card when you check in.
If you are flying economy you won't get into the SA lounge, except if you have the top tier of KrisFlyer - and that would mean you fly very frequently to accrue enough miles.
Actually, Changi is a pretty good airport with enough eating/drinking/shipping/internet places to keep you occupied. There are two or three lounges you can pay to enter which have shower facilities (not affiliated to any airline).
PS: I've just looked at the website, and they are pretty clear about who can use the lounges!

2bring swimmers in your hand luggage there is also a pool on the rooftop of the terminal you can use for a small fee - then you get a shower afterwards - You need to fly 50,000 miles plus to get a gold card to enter KrisFlyer lounge (Singapore - Europe about 4 times) or Biz/1st class ticket holder.
you can get to each terminal really easily so as Saikunger says you can pretty much occupy yourself.
