Thanks very much!
Since you ask, we are from Poland and we have never had any problems with the visas. I hope Iran will be no exception :). We have been thinking about going there for some time, but last month there was a huge Irani festival here in Poland and after hearing people who travelled to Iran we finally made up our minds.
Hope to see it all by ourselves in August.

I was concerning about the visa thing as much as you guys did, but it is good to see that "still, we can get visa to visit Iran without any problems"; well, here is another good news:
I got my visa in Iranian consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia yesterday: no need for any agency or pin number from Mofa, whatever. I just showed up in the consulate and fill up the forms, and the visa is issued immediately.
Apart from what rumor says, I put 25-May to 24-Jun in my application form, and indeed, I got a 30-day visa without any harassment. I am gonna visit Iran during this time as well. So guys, please, if you want to visit Iran during this "so-called special time", you can still get visa......don't worry about that
Good luck guys!

33Well you need to include more information.
From another post, I see you are a Chinese passport holder. Chinese nationals are allowed to gain a visa on arrival at airports. So it is much simpler for you to gain a visa.
Most westerners do not get such an easy ride and have to be background checked (hence the lengthy delays and probable rejection during election.)
So please, include alittle more information like you did in your other post, we dont want you unintentionally misleading other people.
Enjoy your trip.

34Iran Interior Ministry Comments on Borders Closure
Iran Deputy Interior Minister Says Borders... "could be closed" just before the upcoming presidential elections if needed and if the situation warrants! Even he admitted this had never happened before but he is concerned foreign? 'saboteurs' might enter the country to disrupt the elections! If I hear something more, I will post here. Having said that, I seriously doubt Iran will ever close its borders.
