Help needed with Aerogal website pleaseHi folks
I've been trying for over a month now to look up flights to Galapagos on the Aerogal site but to no avail. I've tried all sorts of dates, days of the week etc, but it keeps on coming up with 'no availability' for the dates I'm looking for (well at least that's what I think it sort of says). I've tried from Quito and Guayaquil to Galapagos (both airports) and numerous dates between this March and next January and it still says the same thing.
Does anyone know if perhaps Aerogal have stopped flying to Galapagos? Because I can look up other flights on their site but it's just the Galapagos ones that won't show up. I just want to know so I can stop wasting my time.......

3It doesn't matter what dates you plug in for the AEROGAL Galapagos flights, it always spits out 'not available'. Aerogal continues to fly to Galapagos but it doesn't appear that you can do your reservations online directly through them! More often then not, I see spaces available here on our Amadeus airline system (even when the Aerogal site makes people think that all their dates are sold out).
Alternative airline you might want to consider to fly to/from Galapagos are LAN and TAME.

5The problem with the national Airlines Aerogal and Tame is that you can't book flights from your home country. Like you detected Aerogal will always show on their website that the planes are completly booked. At TAME you will find flights, but you can't book them because you need a credit card from an ecuatorian bank in order to make your flight purchase. Only LAN-Flights you can book from your homecountry over their website. If you come with LAN Airlines to Ecuador you will receive an discount on your flight to Galapagos.

12I've found them on Aerogal at around $225 one way but I've also now discovered that because we are flying into Chile with Qantas, we are able to use LAN's special air pass which works out much cheaper. So, provided you fly with a One World airline (ie LAN or Qantas are two of the airlines) and you book three internal flights within SA, it works out cheaper. Have a look at LAN's site.
