Domestic connecting flight through Mexico CityWe are flying from Dallas (DFW) to Cancun and our flight connects through Mexico City. We are traveling on Aeromexico on all flights. Since we are flying domestic and not international on our connection can someone who has flown through here recently explain the process? Thanks

1I don't know if you are from the U.S. but if you ever land in the U.S. and have a final destination at another U.S. airport then the procedure is identical. You clear immigration, pick up your checked bags, go through customs, re-check your bags at a special counter, return through security to the "airside" of the terminal.

2Yep, as above. After you clear immigration go to your right to baggage claim. Get your luggage off the belt, have it X-rayed by customs then recheck it off to the right after customs. Exit the customs area then re-enter at security check point. Connecting flight are shown on boards all around terminal 2, gate information usually won't appear till 30-60 minutes before your flight. There is free WiFi in the terminal.
