Solo female traveler looking for someone to travel with

Hi,

I am a lone female traveler, age 21, going to India at the beginning of September 2013. I am flying Bangkok to Delhi. Having read the recent media reports on the safety of lone female travelers in India I am now feeling a bit nervous and apprehensive. Is anyone intending to be out there around the same time as me and would like to travel together?

Would be great to have a like minded travel companion. Would like to add on facebook first for obvious reasons.

I am chandran from Bangalore,India, an MBA, currently doing my internship. I was looking for someone to travel with in September as i will be completing my internship by then. So, thought of having a break and do some traveling.

Thanks for the replies! I have checked out the link; it's very useful! I realised I didn't make it clear that I am from England and I would like to travel with someone also from England so that perhaps we could meet up and make travel plans together before leaving England.
