Malawi 10-day ItineraryHello, we are a group of 5, three guys two girls, going to Malawi at the end of may. We have 10 full days and would like to find an itinerary that mixes up a safari, relaxing by lake Malawi and a trek (ideally with sleep over in some village to experience the local culture)...any suggestions? thanks!

1Senga Bay and Money Bay are both nice places to relax by the lake. You can go to Liwonde National Park to see some wildlife and then to Mulanje Mountain for some hiking. There is also some nice places around Zomba to hike, especially on the way up to the Sunbird Hotel. Enjoy, it is a great country.

There are more suggestions than days…
With 10, you need to choose which part of the country you will visit: North or South.
I'm not lakeshore addict but if I need to choose, it will the north with Ruarwe or Usisya.
You can go to Vwaza Marsh (or Niyka but it's not so easy to reach and it's more expensive)
A visit to Livingstonia is a must and try to sleep on the top (Lukwe or Mushroom farm)
If it's south, I'm totally agree with Liwonde NP, Mulanje and Zomba. I don't like so much the south part of the lakeshore but it's my opinion.
Try to read the Bradt guidebook and have your own advice.
