Ukuleles in Kathmandu?!

hi all, bit of an odd request, but does has anybody seen any ukuleles for sale in the music shops around Kathmandu? When i was there a few years back I picked up a fendAr guitar (note the 'a') for a few hundred rupees, and ended up bringing it home with me. I don't want to take my beloved uke (or even a cheaper one) for fear of it becoming damaged in transit, and i don't want to take it in my hand luggage.
Was just wondering whether the recent ukulele craze has hit Nepal yet? I'll be spending a few months there (arriving 2nd June) doing some independent photography projects, as well as visiting the orphanage that I have volunteered at, so figured I would just donate it to the kiddlywinks at the end of my trip.
Thanks in advance

There are several Ukelele stores in Thamel. You can usually find them near the shops that sell grand pianos.

Sadly I am lying, although the idea of sadhus backing themselves with a ukelele when they serenade seekers after truth is a pleasant one.

Bring your own, people do do it. I met a mandolin player carrying hers in Namche Bazaar.
