ATM'S and exchange rate to the Euro!Couple of questions here. Firstly, does Conakry have any ATM'S ? Secondly, what is the official rate, as according to xe.com it's just over 9000 to the euro, however, I was just looking at someones blog and they were saying that they got 2500 to the euro, and they said this was a good rate!!!?? Couldn't see when this blog was dated from , but surely there is a mistake there.

5Labe definitely, they have Bank of Africa and Ecobank etc, even a Standard Chartered.
Kindia yes, no worries.
Mamou possible, but wasn't paying attention. Busy junction town so no reason why not.
You need VISA.
Mastercard/Cirrus/Maestro often totally useless, visa is best.
But remember, cash machines can often run out of money, and also there are often electricity cuts so the machines are not working. You should not rely upon ATMs as your primary source of money, cash is is still very much king!
