16That is for sure. New Year coming up and all that. Apparently, USD 10,000.00 in cash, food, and booze went missing from Anjuna whilst the premises were searched. Roadking, I have no problem with weed and I think it should be legalized. However, it is NOT legal in Cambodia and if you smoke in public, and everybody knows, you are setting yourself up for getting busted. See, I am not scared of coppers because I keep myself away from dope, I have a work permit, a driving license, hate pedos. So no worries.

17Yes agree with you Hanno, but seriously, Cambodia has way more issues to be dealing with then some stoned travellers and some guy dealing.Child sex trade there is digusting, but the police get paid off, what low morals people have to just get a buck.
Im the same as you, drivers license, residence card and all legal paperwork, they just hate it when they pull me over on the bike.

18they dont care about sex with kids
Well enough people get arrested for it, so it seems they do. It's a completely different issue anyway. I don't care about weed, but we don't need Bath Salts being sold here, there's enough of a problem with other methamphetamines already.
What's that? Is it something you get to live in Vietnam?

20Yes, residence card is a Vietnamese thing; saves you from filling up your passport with visas.
I spoke to one of the policeman making the arrest yesterday; they were really nailed for dealing and not for smoking the odd joint or two.
And really, lots of pedophiles have been arrested since I am here......
