Diving in Sharm el SheikhHi. I'm going to spend 2 weeks in Egypt, leaving the end of March. One week in Dahab, and one week in Sharm. I've been diving a couple of times in Dahab and am thus familiar with some dive centers there. However I have only done snorkeling in Sharm.
Does anyone know of a reliable and reasonably priced dive center in Sharm? This time I will NOT be staying in Naama Bay, which I found too touristic and expensive, but will stay near the Old Market at an inexpensive hotel. Are there dive centers around there? If anyone has any ideas, good or bad experiences, please let me know. Also, if you can recommend good sites for dives or snorkeling anywhere along the Sharm coast, that would also be useful. My level is Advanced Open Water, but my buoyancy is still not so good, so I can't do any real advanced dives. I found one lovely snorkeling place just by Fanar, where you can just swim out a bit from the shore and see the most incredible fish and reefs. I'd like to find more places like that.
Thanks in advance for your advice!

The most Dahab - like place to stay in Sharm is http://sharksbay.com/
The diving was great but I think you would need to be advanced - get in touch with them and ask - they also have a nice house reef for snorkelling.

I use 2 web sites to book my divIng, snorkeling and boat trips in Sharm as well as for general information, latest situation and other excursions such as camping in Nabq National park they are reliable, safe, professional, British run and excellent value for money. But foremost they are not biased they work with a number of diving centres and get you the best deal depending on where you want to go, what you want to do and your experience level.
