Holy cow that's a sprint. Have you considered doing at least a couple of those leaps by air? Five stops in 18 days, especially with travel as slow as it is in that part of the world, is going to be a lot. Especially if Cambodia and Vietnam have more than one stop per country, you're not going to have more than a day or two in each place before you're moving on.

My suggestion? Pick either Penang-Phuket-Bangkok or Cambodia-Vietnam and have a little more fun with your trip.

Like mentioned before, thats quite a sprint you are doing. Not sure if it is worth it.
But, I am in Bangkok at the moment and will leave for Siam Reap on either Monday 1 or Tuesday 2 April.
