Organisation of places to visit

Hi all,

I have started to plan an Eurotrip from the +-17tf of June until the beginning of August, which would give me more or less six weeks. I have a list of countries to go however, i am not certain which order it should be in. i am planning on initially arriving in Germany, Frankfurt. This is the order or the countries I am planning to visit. Denmark or Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, France, Monaco, Spain, Paris, London, Amsterdam.

Does any one have other suggestions of different orders and a other countries which would be interesting and worth visiting? I am 18 years old and about to finish High school this summer. I would be on a relatively small budget with two oder friends.

Thanks

Hi!

I'd start thinking about it in terms of actual places (cities or other) as opposed to countries.

Some of those you list are countries, others are not.

Have you read an introductory guidebook (like the LP Europe Guide)?

Also...how much is your 'relatively small' budget? Including flights, insurance etc.

What exactly is a "relatively small budget"? Bear in mind that you're going to be in Europe for approximately 50 days, the absolute bare minimum that you're going to need is going to be 2,500-3,000 Euros - and that will be sleeping in hostels, cooking your own food and very little nightlife. If you've got less money than that then either put off your trip or reduce the length.

As to other suggestions, tell us what your interests are and you'll get more specific advice.

I would also do as lucapal suggests in his first post.

Paris, London and Amsterdam are not countries. Is there any particular reason why you want to avoid the rest of the UK and the Netherlands?

Also you list 10 countries (including UK and NL) and 6 weeks. Not to mention that they're as distant as Greece and Morocco. As others suggest, start thinking of places rather than countries (towns, regions...) and then seriously consider cutting right back. Also if your budget is limited the faster you travel the more you spend.

You're order is nigh on impossible. If you want to 'see' a lot of places then start in Amdam and travel a lopp around central/western Europe. Amsterdam, Berlin, Krakow, Bratislava, Budapest, Milan, Zurich, Paris, Monaco, Barcelona, Madrid.

Even this in six weeks is very very difficult and even more expensive.

But each to their own.

You're welcome, thomazbadaro! Always nice when people return to read their replies, don't you think?

I suggest you get a map of Europe, mark the places you want to go to, then work out a logical way round, instead of your current plan which is distinctly illogical.
