Itinerary and Advice

Hi peoples,

I'm currently in melborn, the secon stop of a round the world trip. I'm leaving for NZ via Sidney on the 13th so was hoping before that to head to Canberra and then the blue mountains. what would be the best way to go about this? A 100$ greyhound mel-can-Sid looks tempting. Perhapse a flight(s) would be better, or perhaps going to Sidney to get to the mountains only to return again 2 days later is a waste? Any advice appreciated!!!

Cheers,
Dan.

Take the bus. It's cheaper than 2 flights
Stay a few days in Canberra - it's a few degree cooler than Melb ATM. If you get to CBR this weekend (9-11 March) there will be lots on as it's CBR's 100th birthday celebration. All the happenings are here
Head to Sydney by bus and you can do a day trip to the Blue Mountains via train or bus.

Agree with Phi. Unless you've got a car you're going to have to go through Sydney to get to the mountains anyway. I would suggest staying overnight in the mountains...
