'special' & romantic place for dinner in Berlin
Can anyone recommend a 'special' place in Berin for a romantic dinner. I'm not looking for anything fancy (but don't mind), but would be mainly in for something special - a special location eg on top of something, or a weird building; or something that follows a special concept.thanks for your recommendations

I am not sure how special will be for you, but you can dinnner in the tv tower in Berlin, it keep moving and you can dinner while seeing Berlin. See http://www.tv-turm.de/en/ for more information...2

Does not list he TV tower one, but e.g. the Funkturm Restaurant (radio tower in West Berlin).
And another category which may be of interest: Top 10 Candle Light Dinner for the ones in love. The top listed one, the Drachenhaus, is however inside Park Sanssouci in Potsdam.

If you consider a day trip to Potsdam there are also many options, some in castle or at lakes.

Three 'special' & romantic' places comes in my mind.The Ratsstuben inside the town hall Schöeneberg. If you stay in front of the building turn left and behind the second corner is the entrance. A very nice little place, well decorated and very gemütlich (something like good natured or comfortable) and not expensive. They have each day a great buffet for lunch and dinner. A place even JFK like it.
Public transport by busses and Metro.
A second place called Waldhaus. It's in the forest not far from the tower Grunewaldturm who stay at the right bank of the river Havel. They are specialized in roast vernison, freindly service and good different sort of beers. The price is a little bit higher hear but the food is fantastic. Local transport by busses.
The 3rd place is a middle aged restaurant in the fortification Zitadelle Spandau. A really special place with typical German food served like in the middle age. Very tasting, nice service dressed in the style of the century and a good am athmosphere - a place for dinner. Only Napolean had booked some nights here. Public transport also by busses and subway.
For all three a reservation would be better, you find their contact via Interent.
