Nepal Treks September or October 2013hallo everyone!
I am a female travelling solo, and will be in Kathmandu in the last week of September 2013 and am wanting to do the Annapurna Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek. Possibly an overland trip to Tibet also. Is anyone visiting Nepal about the same time, who would like to make up a group, so that costs are not too high? My plan is to go on to India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand etc. afterwards, all overland. amazingworld.

5@ amazingworld september is the best season for trekking so you can do those trekking which you want but if you like to trek in everest base camp you have to book ticket for lukla earlier because that is the peak season and limitation of flights.for Tibet also you have to book with group. In Tibet there will be change the rules so you have have to contact any agencies before you departure.
koka 78, you will get trekking partner on the way also if you are going with guide or porter it will be safe or secure with a lot of information about himalaya and there culture.
@jep for African nationalities it is difficult for go to Bangladesh more over it is not any boundary .
Have a nice Jorney

6@5 "september is the best season for trekking", well maybe in Upper Mustang and Dolpo but elsewhere it's definitely not. I met a grouop in Manaslu who had been told the same, they went beginning of September and they've seen nothing but mud and rain. I went end of September and that was more or less ok, and even then it's not sure, but worth the risk.

7In the past the monsoon typically ended in mid-September but there was plenty oif cloud and some rain until the end of the month. In the last few years the monsoon has last through Sepetember and into October. Definitely not the best month to trek now.,
To be certain of clear, rain-free weather wait until November in my view.
