Check out the Gweet Facebook page. This is a new start-up being "incubated" in the Oasis500 project. They focus on alternate housing--rentals.

Thanks, looks like a great source for nightly rentals. It'll keep it in mind for shorter stays.

The Gweet resource is not for nightly stays. They concentrate on longer rentals. You might contact them with your needs. Otherwise, you can try any one of numerous real estate/apartment agencies who will find you a place on a monthly or longer basis. The advantage with Gweet is that you can view the apartment on their facebook site whereas with an agent, you would have to run around with one of their agents viewing property (been there, done that, and the guy I went around with was on the mobile with his girlfriend nearly the entire time he was taking me from place to place, and didn't seem to care if I rented or not. Also, you have to pay the fee for the agent this way).

#3 Thanks, Raymond, just found it on twitter after looking all over LP!

Another question about an extended stay as I know if I stay over 30days there is a fee of 1.5JD day(had to pay for 5 extra days last trip). Is it just recommended to pay the fee or is it better to go register with the authorities beforehand? Thanks.

BTW, Gweet is great and hope something comes from the site!
