Do I need a visa through Russia?

Hello all,

I am a Canadian who works in South Korea. I will be flying through Moscow from the Sheremetyevo airport on my way to Sweden.

I know Canadians can be in Russia for 24 hours without a visa as long as the ticket shows proof of final destination, but I would like to be absolutely certain that I do not need a travel visa for going through the international airport. If anyone can give me advice, it would be greatly appreciated. This is m first time going to Europe and I don't wane anything wrong to happen.

If you don't plan to leave the airport, you don't need a visa. The 24 hours without a visa is ONLY if you remain in the international transit area.
