KTM to Lukla flight
Hello. I am hoping to arrive in ktm by bus from Varanasi this Friday (Mar 1). I have not yet booked my flight from KTM to Lukla for the Everest Base Camp trek because I wanted to make sure I could actually get there (festival in Varanasi). I would like to fly to lukla on the 3rd and my question is: Is this something that I need to do immediately or will I be able to book this flight when I arrive in ktm?Also, any tips on websites/agency to book the cheapest flight?

HiIf on a tight schedule and/or definitely want to fly on the 3rd I suggest taking the uncertainty out of the situation and booking a flight soonish.
It might be possible to book a flight on arrival in KTM (any travel or trekking agent can do thiis at fairly standard prices) because the season is just getting under way - then again it might not. Also, the first flights of the day have the best chance of flying and these book up first.
It's possible to book online with some of the airlines but the payment systems are not as s ecure as one might expect.
