Any limit on ATM cash withdrawls in Cuba ?

A per transaction withdrawal, and a daily limit ?

"A per transaction withdrawal"
40 notes - i.e. if the particular ATM is dispensing only 5CUC notes then 200CUC is the limit. I drive Mrs A crazy by stopping at every ATM we pass to see if it dispenses 20's!
As you unlike ATM's in most other countries their's generally only dispense a single denomination

"and a daily limit ?"
Only by your home bank (or subject to the capacity of the ATM!).
We've done mutible, sequential withdrawals heaps of times when all i could find were the 5 or 10 CUC machines.

so if only CUC 3 notes the max is 120 ! (That has happened to me.)

In Havana, the machines quite often had two different notes.

...now if they dispensed pristine 3CUP notes I'd be happy!

"In Havana, the machines quite often had two different notes"
...yet another way that Havana differs from the rest of the country - mind you I have never come across a machine that gave me the choice even in Havana but bow to your greater experience there Beardo.

Not a choice. It chose - I think the higher denomination first. So if it had 20 and 5, and you chose a multiple of 20, you only got 20. I recall a number of times requesting odd amounts in order to get a few 5s.

I go 4 or 5 times a year and each time I notice that some things have changed from my previous trip and others reman the same. Just want to know how current the info is.

One thing that I don't understand is that about 10 years ago BFI had ATMs and then got rid of them.

I asked the original question because my SIL will need to pull about 300CUC in one transaction, or multiple sequential ones, which appears is doable.
