The Sarawak Transport Company (STC) operates a series of buses which drop you off or pick you up about 1 kilometre west of the Kuching Airport. To get to them, turn left as you exit the Kuching airport and walk to the main T intersection, turn left again and walk until you reach the big roundabout. There you can catch a bus heading north to town on the 3A, 6, 8G and 9 buses. The most convenient place to catch these buses back to the Kuching Airport intersection is at the main bus terminal located in the city.

Tip: if you have heard about Bus No. 12A and its 5 daily trips between the Kuching Airport and the city centre, bad news: it no longer operates.

That is information from website, not sure what time exactly but you can get taxi coupon by the exit and it starts at RM26 and I think it is more convenient if you concern about time. Taxi would run all day.

I took the bus from the airport almost 7 years ago. They couldn't find the funds to run a bus 5x/day? I'm sure the taxi drivers are overjoyed with the bus's demise.
