Accomodation and which Perenthian island
After some information from this have decided to visit Perenthian in July .Now am wondering if anyone can suggest which island to go to .Also accommodation up to maximum $40 for a double .
Any suggestions greatly appreciated .
I am not looking for parties .more relaxing and swimming .

A good place for that is Bubbles Dive resort on Beasr.You don't have to be a diver.There is a 'private' beach (this place is quite isolated..you go in and out by boat),good snorkelling off the beach,also turtles nesting in season.It si really good value...well within your budget if you take the room only option.
It really needs to be booked in advance...have a look at their website

I haven't stayed at Tuna Bay.AFAIK though it is considerably more expensive (I think that's why i decided not to try it,as the reviews I read were pretty good ).It also has a reputation for better food....the food at Bubbles is ok,but not great.I chose Bubbles for the low price,the quiet,the beach and the off shore snorkelling.....all of these things were very good.
I also saw several turtles depositing eggs on the beach which was a bonus ;-)
