Bargain deal on SCOOT flights from SYD and OOL to Singapore

Scoot have a $99 one way fare from either Sydney or Gold Coast to Singapore. Looks like it starts from March 4 2013. Just checked it out with no check in baggage on way over and baggage and fly bag on way home and it comes to AUD332.36. Think sale is only for a limited time. Interestingly they have Melbourne on their destination list so maybe one day we will have it here. JoyV

jetstar have a sale for international flights at the moment.

Melb/singapore - from memory was around the $250 - so a bit dearer than Scoot but it is from Melbourne.

My size 10 sister just flew back from BKK on jetstar and said there wasn't enough room to pick up anything if you dropped it on the floor. Terrible experience so do not have good feedback from her. She is super fit and does yoga etc and very supple. JoyV

Just flew back to Auckland with Jetstar and as someone who is a tad bigger than wanted, had no real problems. Only a saw bum and I get one of those regargless of airline.
I'd be a bit wary of SCOOT with their overbooking and leaving people stranded.

I've never had a space problem on Jetstar international, but maybe they've changed. have difficulty picking things up from the floor in most economy class configurations.

Just see that Tiger also have special AU$10 plus CC charge between Mel Syd or Hobart or Adelaide Tuesdays to Thursdays up till October. Look at their page for details. Their sale ends on 21 Feb 2013. JoyV

I haven't travelled jetstar international, but their domestic space is no better or worse than any other airline.

have flown to NZ with Jetstar, didn't notice any big difference regarding space.
