Tarija - Tupiza (Salar de Uyuni Tour): Who wants to share a ride?
Hi there!I am planning to travel from Tarija to Tupiza this Thursday (February, 21) - as I read a lot about this road probably being the "second most dangerous road in the world" + as the buses only go at night (someone actually posted: because of the road being so scary...) + they only go via Villazon - I thus plan to get a ride directly to Tupiza to join a tour to Salar der Uyuni the following day. I am looking for 1-2 travelers who want to join me on the trip. The scenery must be amazing and we could ask the driver to stop here and there to actually for once enjoy getting from A to B here in Bolivia (instead of staying awake all night on a bumby, smelly ride wondering what is going on outside...)
Oh - I am actually planning to book the tour with Tupiza Tours as I only read good reviews about them - I will let you know!

I did Tupiza to Tarija in September, at night. It was fine - then again, I popped a pill so was unconscious for the whole journey. I think that's the only way to enjoy it, so I'm told!3
Yeah, it´s a beauti, I cycled the bit from Villamontes to Uyuni via Tupiza, really nice.
