Wroclaw and area
I am planning to visit Poland in May, and would like to spend 2 or 3 days in Wroclaw. I would particularly like to see the Peace churches in Swidnica and Jawor. My question is whether I can do this on my own, as a day trip, using public transport, or do I have to join a tour?
Any specific information would be appreciated.
My other question is about buses to travel from Wroclaw to Torun. I don't imagine there is a direct bus; what would my best options be, and how long will it take?
Thank you for your help

Easy to do on your own. From Wroclaw, frequent buses to Jawor (also connections at Legnica) and Swidnica, about one hour trips. Search on this site:http://www.e-podroznik.pl
Churches are about 300m from bus stations.

To Torun, better by train, 5-6 hr, one direct and others with connection at Poznan.

Also, there are direct train connections between Jawor and Świdnica (5 daily, see http://rozklad.pkp.pl), which allow to easily visit both places during a single day-trip.
