Jungle Trip?

I return to Quito from the Galapagos Islands on April 9th and depart the country on April 14th. Is it possible to fit in a trip to the Amazon between the 10th and 13th for 2 or 3 nights? Is it worth the cost/time? Any detailed recommendations? Thanks in advance for any help!

from Quito you could get to puyo in 5 hours on a bus. There is a place called Chinimp tuna where I stayed and it is somewhat close to puyo. you might want to check it out

It might be cutting it too close, but some years ago we really enjoyed our jungle trip with La Selva.
They flew us from Quito to Coca, then by motorized dugout down the river Napo to the lodge (thatched huts).
They had 3 and 5 day trips. It is in deep primary rainforest.
Be advised it is more expensive than most jungle excrusions, but we thought it was worth it. I'm sure you can find the company by googling "La Selva, Ecuador"

These are the ones I have heard about - La Selva , Sacha and Napo Wildlife . Prices seem to be close together but much more if you are traveling alone. I would like to go to the Galapagos and the Amazon sometime between March 15 and April 15th and am trying to find a travel companion now to off-set costs.

Hi ldugdale1! I am also looking for a travel companion to the Amazon. I hope to make it during the semana Santa. Please let me know if you are still interested. Thanks!
