what to do in a week in JiangsuHi,
I am traveling next week to Jiangsu province in China. I am flying to Nanjing. I have been previously in Nanjing, Hangzhou and Suzhou.
This time I am looking for something different, nature and villages mainly. I live in Beijing and the objective is to get out of the cities and pollution.
I have heard about Tongli and Mudu. Are these villages worth it? Any other alternative places?
Any suggestion wiill be very welcome!

1Since you are focused on nature and village, i think Tongli is worth a visit. If you only have time for one canal town, it has to be Tongli. Rich in historic canal-side atmosphere and weather-beaten charm, many of Tongli's buildings have kept their traditional facades, with stark whitewashed walls, black-tiled roofs, cobblestone pathways and willow-shaded canal views adding to a picturesque allure.
About Mudu, it adds a further dimension to the Suzhou experience, It once attracted the Qing emperor Qianlong to visit it for six times, While Mudu is neither the largest nor the most appealing of Jiangsu's canal town, it makes for a convenient half-day tour.

2I recommend the city Wuxi. There're three kingdoms city and shuihu city, many Chinese films are made there.

3If you want something a bit different, you can go to Yixing, where they make the cute teapots. IIRC, you can go on a boat ride through some caves down there.
You could also check out the Mini Teracotta Warriors in Xuzhou.
