Cheapest ticket out of australia and WHD visa questions

Hello!

Sitting in indonesia atm and i am going to australia in the next few days with jetstar (booking this one seems like a misstake after reading up some) so now to my questions. As far as i have read i will always need a proof of departure when travling with jetstar into australia regardless of which visa i am going with?
Where can i find the absolutely cheapest ticket out of australia? doesnt matter if its a month from now or a year, i probably wont use it anyway, i checked around a little bit but the cheapest ones i found was around a 100 aus dollar to indonesia.
Also can Jetstar demand that ill be able show that i sufficient funds? i know the government might want it but i wonder if jetstar can request it aswell.

Most of these questions would probably been better off sent to jetstar directly but i cant even find a e-mail adresse to them and i dont really feel like calling them unless i have to.

Really looking forward to going to australia and i hope some people have more insight into this! Thanks in advance

even to NZ it is more than that and to Perth even from the east coast, unless on special special.

questions to Jetstar sometimes can be answered via their facebook page.

The following paragraph comes from the Immigration Department's website on Working Holiday Visas:

+Financial requirements

You must have access to sufficient funds to support yourself for the initial stage of your holiday. Generally, AUD5000 may be regarded as sufficient, but the amount may vary depending on your length of stay and the extent of your travel. You should also have a return or onward ticket or the funds for a fare to depart Australia.

You may be asked to provide evidence. Evidence may include a certified copy of a bank statement and an air ticket out of Australia.+

Sounds to me like you don't need an actual ticket, just the funds available to buy one.

if you can avod it, don't phone the Jetstar call centre. It is based in Manilla, and starts with robot voices asking stupid questions, whch go on for far too long.
When I eventally got to a human being, he was quite helpful, though.

I got great service from the Manila call centre - but was calling in UK time, so their night shift. Maybe they weren't so busy then.
