How much time in Bohol?

Assuming I just want to come from Cebu, see the Chocolate Hills, try to see some Tarsiers, then go back to Cebu. 1 day? 2 days?

Need a full day touring/riding a motorbike to see Chocolate hills and Tarsier Sanctuary at Sikatuna, so add your travel time from Cebu and just about possible in 2 days, but deserves more..

I could probably squeeze in three days if that would be substantially less hectic/better.

Take the morning fastferry from Cebu to Tagbiliran, go find somehere decent to stay near Alona Beach, Hope Homes has motorbikes included in the room price. Next day ride around. Spend one day relaxing on the beach. Back to Cebu next morning..

Leave Alona. Stay up river, hire a motorbike and explore the interior. You could do it in two days if you wanted to.

I spent 2 days touring around Bohol on a motorbike, 1 day on south/eastern side, 1 day on the south/western side. Think I've done better trips elsewhere in SE Asia and there's a lot of traffic and some bad roads, although the Tarsier sanctuary was nice, chocolate hills highly over-rated. Also some lovely waterfalls/swimming holes to see on the sth/west side.

For what you want to do, 1 full day touring is enough, but spend a day more if you're already there to see the other attractions. Staying at Nuts Huts is recommended, lovely bungalows right beside a river. Id concur, leave Alona unless you want to try the excellent diving there.
