Thanks for the tip. In fact, Firtretu was one of the tour operators I asked for a quote. Funny you say $110/day for driver/car/guide. He gave me a quote of 130 Euros/day for the same, and this was after bargaining. He also quoted me 50 Euro per person per day for CAMPING, which seems quite outrageous.I've found another local guide who offers a similar itinerary of staying with the tribes, and the cost is hundreds less. I'll be sure to let the forum know how things go!
