Secure long-term parking in Johannesburg
I will be taking a one-month trip departing from the airport in Johannesburg, South Africa and need a secure place to park my car. I see that the airport has long-term parking, but is it safe to leave my car there for one month? Are there are any other options for long-term secure parking in Johannesburg?1
OR Tambo Airport's long-term parking is pretty suitable, make sure you choose one of the parking areas that has shadecloth ports. I think they have 2 or 3 long term parking areas. Less convenient, but a more "controlled" space, you could look into Lanseria's long term parking.Other option is to look into the Gautrain stations - over December they were offering a R1/day parking special. Good security there.

The long-term parking at OR Tambo is very reliable, as is the Gautrain parking - though outside of specials, I think the airport parking will be more cost effective,Best

I can recommend the farm of Elmary Joubert, because we have a Land Cruiser there for a long time already. We fly there get our Land Cruiser, make our trip in southern Africa and bring the vehicle back for the time we are back in Europe. You pay 380 Rand/month including bringing you to the Gautrain Station for the express-train to Johannesburg Airport and including picking you up from the train when you come back.Elmary Joubert
