Bikaner to Amristar

Trying to get to Amristar by train what is the best way? is the bus a better way to go?

There is no direct train, so bus is a better option...

You may have use several buses as you move along. Plan by the seat of your pants as you move along with help from Google maps. Moreover, there is plenty of information at bus stations.

Bikaner to Amritsar = by train:
Bikaner to Hisar = http://erail.in?T=BKN::HSR: > train 54827 = 6h20' = 309 km
Hisar to Amritsar = http://erail.in?T=HSR::ASR:
train 19771 = 11h50' = 504 km/ train19781 = 07h20' = 345 km/ train 54601 = 11h10 = 346 km

Another option is to take a train from Bikaner to Makhu and from Makhu take a bus / cab to Amritsar.

You may take overnight train from Bikaner to Bathinda Jn. From there take the bus (4 hrs) journey..
