transportation time from Togeans to Rantepaoat time

Hi guys:
I m trying to figure out a way to leave Kadidiri on a Friday,
and arrive in Rantepao the following day,Saturday.
Is it possible to get from the Togeans by ferry and bus
within 24 hours. If so, does anyone know what time the last
bus leaves from Ampana to Rantepao on a Friday?
Also, if I have to break it up, where would be the logical
place to spend the night.
Thanks

First issue: Does the boat to Ampana operate on fridays (the Muslim holy day)???
If so, the boat leaves Wokai in the morning, and it takes about 4 hours travel time to Ampana.. There is usually an eastbound bus coming through Ampana at least by mid-afternoon -- most buses going to Rantepao also continue on to Makasar.
If you get a through bus mid afternoon then you should be in Rantepao sometime on Saturday. Travel time is something like this (from memory): 5-6 hours to Poso (or to the junctiion where the bus bypasses Poso), 1 hour uphill to Tentena, 2 hours to Pendolo, 12-13 hours to Rantepao. This does not include meal stops en route. It also does not take into account possible bus breakdowns.
Best to take the same bus all the way because you may not be able to get a seat at an intermediate stop. If you do a stopover the place with the most interest is Tentena. Try the lake eel for a meal if you do an overnight there.
