Are you involved with the Couch Surfing community? If not, you should definitely create an account. You can not only make connections around the world, but there are often local group meetings and gathering for fellow CSers to meet one another. We're a special breed, us travelers. Some people travel once or twice, head home, and call it a day. Others go and catch 'the bug'. I'm feeling the same way, and am actually heading back out to South America after only 2 months of being home. I agree with others, I think you should make some new friends who have that in common with you. Couch Surfing is the place to start, for sure! Good luck, and hang in there!
