Obtaining Toursit Card in Santiago (Chile) or Lima (Peru)

I am flying to Cuba from Australia with LAN airlines with stopovers in Santiago and Lima. I'd like to know the best place to get a Tourist Card in either of these two cities. I am asking because Cuban visas in Australia are $60 ($110 by mail) and the LAN office here in Sydney does not seem to know about Tourists Cards. Other information I've read only talks about getting the Tourist Card in Central America, not South America.

LAN office at the Lima Airport should have tourist cards for Cuba.

Short answer is NO!
Unless there has been VERY recent change LAN does not supply TC's on flights from Santiago - they MAY from Lima.
Options are hope that COPA desk is open which is what we did last trip in Santiago OR buy from Canberra Consulate.

Thanks for your replies. I think I will play it safe and spend the extra money and buy it from the Canberra Consulate.
