Looking for hotels or motels in Nha Trang

I'll be there on Feb 13th to 16th. However, many hotels on Tran Phu street are booked. Does anyone know any good and available places nearby? Please help.
Thanks in advance.

When I was there, I stayed at this place. The only problem was I had booked the room with the large balcony (sea view), the room I was given had a small balcony which was unacceptable. They told me the people in that room were supposed to check out that morning but had rung reception saying they were very sick and could they please stay another day.

I said no I want my room please. They rang the room but surprise, surprise - they had gone out and didn't return to the hotel until 6pm. They were told to move out.

No motels. Obviously it depends on your budget. There are hundreds of hotels from a few dollars up to hundreds of dollars per night. Tet time is always busy and rooms need to be booked well in advance. Most of the rooms are taken up by locals. The New Best western has sensational rooms available at a very soft price of $85 per night (Half price).

Most low budget hotels are waiting for the 10's of thousand local tourists to flock into the city about the 13th or 14th,
you'll just have to get about and find something you want
prices are going to be high, quite high, 25 to 30 $ for a 10 $ room
but don't feel so bad, the locals would have to pay 40 or 50 $ for the same room

many of them are not taking reservations for them days, just waiting for guests to walk in so they can charge more

good luck

The hotel where I stayed charged $18 per night, that was in May.

Completely irrelevant! Tet is another ball game!

OP just tell us your budget and we can suggest options. There are a lot of new boutique hotels who are searching for clients. Established ones fill up with the same locals Tet after Tet.
